Can you tell us something about yourself and what strengths you bring to the governing body? Include occupation and background if relevant. I work as a PMO in for Kellogg’s in their European IT Team. I started my career in food retail with Sainsburys, the role taught me many life skills. I have no children of my own, through choice but that doesn’t stop me thinking it’s important to support the future for other people

Do you have any relevant business or pecuniary interests? Are you a governor in another education institution? None
|
Do you have any material interests arising from relationships between governors or relationships between governors and school staff? None
|
Why did you want to be a governor at Brentwood? It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, I had a challenging childhood, however people were kind and supportive, this made a massive difference to me and I’d like to try give a little back

What impact has being a governor at Brentwood had on you? Not sure yet but hoping for a great one. I am new to a governor role so hoping to listen, learn and then see where I can bring value to the role
