My name is Helen Welsh. I am the Health & Wellbeing Worker here at Brentwood School & College.

 

 

My role has been developed to work across school supporting class teams, the school nurse, therapists and the school Family Support Advisor to ensure student health care and medical needs are met.

 

My role can vary each and every day, but primarily all of my work will involve ensuring the health and wellbeing of our students and to ensure they are safe, well and happy. I have experience working with students in a specialist setting and can support our young people with medication, targeted interventions and support with their independence. My role also covers supporting parents with their health & wellbeing by offering early help, home visits and support with post-operative transition as well as transition of new students into Brentwood.
