Children in Need 2018
Fri 23 Nov 2018On Friday 16th November, staff and students did their bit for Children in Need and everyone had a fantastic day. It was great to see how much effort everyone had put in and much of the day was spent admiring everyone’s crazy PJ’s and onesies!
Students had lots of fun scoring penalties against Fred the Red who joined us for the day, did lots of exciting activities in their classes and departments and ended the day with a fashion show where staff and students strutted their stuff on the catwalk where prizes were awarded to those who got the loudest cheer! Prizes were also awarded to one student in each department who had scored the most goals against Fred the Red! Many thanks to Manchester United and Friends of Brentwood for their kind donations.
College students contributed by purchasing official Children in Need T-shirts and donated the takings from their café where students from school were able to buy drinks, cakes and biscuits.
Thanks to your overwhelming support, although we don’t have a final total yet as money is still coming in, we raised over £900 which is magnificent – well done everyone!
