School Meals Information

September 2025:

We have changed the provider of our school meals as we are aiming to offer higher quality meals at a reduced cost. There will be a one week menu to support students to know what to expect each day, and this will be added to the website.
We would like to encourage greater uptake of meals and therefore we will be charging student £2.50 per day as an introductory offer up to half term.

Free School Meals

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you receive any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Job-seekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit, or have an annual gross income of more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit

Children who receive any of the above benefits in their own right (i.e. they receive benefits payments directly, instead of through a parent or carer) can also receive free school meals.
