At Brentwood School, we believe that regular school attendance is essential if children are to achieve their full potential.  We value the attendance of all our students.

Our attendance policy sets to give clear guidance to parents, staff, students and governors and follows Department for Education guidance.  A copy of the policy can be requested from the school office.

School starts at 08.50am and finishes at 3.30pm (32 hours per week)

Absence Reporting:

It is important that school are aware of any student absences.

• If your son/daughter is going to be absent from school, please ring the school office to inform us. Someone will be available to answer your call from 8am: 0161 9052371

• If your son/daughter has an appointment, please let school know in advance where possible, either through a message on Class Dojo, or by phoning the school office.

• If you would like to request permission to take your son/daughter out of school for a holiday or other event, you need to complete an absence request form. We follow the Department for Education's guidance on term-time absences and request that you do your upmost to ensure family holidays are taken during school holidays.
